Kistler pipe cutting machines come in two options. PLC Controlled model which is familiar in the industry as SCM Range (Standard diameter range from 300 to 630mm Sizes and personalised ones of 1000mm ) and CNC Controlled which are best known as RSM Range (normal diameter ranges from 400 to 1200mm).
SCM range Pipe cutting machines are made use of to cut pipes and profile in workshops and on-site. The SCM models include 2 PLC-controlled axes that will enable cutting pipes in association with a plasma or oxy-fuel torch. The job piece is fixed with the help of a driven chuck (axis1) and the torch is navigated over the pipe (axis2). Optionally, a 3rd controlled axis can be included to facilitate beveling of end cuts (straight, miter or branches). All of the programming is controlled by menu and the machine is therefore very easy to operate.
SCM series of CNC controlled machines for pipe cutting, marks the top level of accuracy and maintaining comfort. These pipe cutting machines controlled by CNC, are specifically used for precise branch cutting and penetrations that occur in the field pipeline construction. This pipe cutting procedure is done via oxy-fuel and plasma. They are incorporated with five CNC-controlled axes.
